Points
USSSA uses points to determine seedings for both State Championships and World Series events. The more points a team accumulates over the course of the season the higher seeded, and therefore easier schedule, that team will likely face in State championship and World Series play. Points can be earned by playing in the following:
- USSSA Sanctioned League: 100 points
- USSSA Sanctioned Tournament: Up to 75 points
- USSSA Sanctioned NIT Tournament: Up to 150 points

Depending on their record, the USSSA Puerto Rico Director reserves the right to change any teams classification throughout the year.
